Friends,

God bless you all!  Thanks for all your partnership in prayer and in our ministry.  The prayer letters emerged from a time when I was overwhelmed with the circumstances of life—I had always taken prayer requests and prayed myself, but one of my dearest friends, Apple, was stricken with cancer.  That compounded with some other things, was more than I could handle emotionally, so I began sending out requests for Apple and others.

That was a couple of years ago.

I have been sort of amazed at results, answers to prayer, folks who tell me the Holy Spirit has energized their prayer lives.  I have no idea how some of you got on my mailing list.  Some have opted out, and I repeat if any of you want off the list, all you need to do is ask. I do not want to burden anyone with unwanted emails.  Some rather unique online Christian partnerships have evolved and some are now working in ministry together.

This is a time of financial need for us, as it is for so many of you—close to one third of you have never been to my ministry in person.  I only ask that God’s people seek His Face and do what He says to do.  I have another letter following that tells what I believe will soon happen, for a short season, in the financial arena.

I do know that change is upon us.  I appreciate the ongoing support from those who know and come to my meetings. The time I took off the road—nearly seven months except for local ministry—was something I had not done in twenty years of traveling ministry. More than ever I want to impact and change lives—there seems to be a couple of dynamics working against folks now, either frustration or despair (be sure to listen to the message, “Come To Me.")

For all the ministries that I have not been to in a couple of years, I have not abandoned you or my desire to come to your area—we did face rather unique circumstances.  God has done a miracle in my health as well—after five months of sickness and exhaustion, the Lord touched me in one of our wonderful midweek services.  I have been physically active since, and made the longest ministry trip by car in a while to Tampa recently (the audio messages for the two services I spoke will be available shortly at www.lifecenterofbrandon.org.

My next scheduled trip is August 15th in Lake Placid, FL at The Ministry Center.  There is a possibility of some other meetings in Florida around the same time, but I will let you know in future letters.  I honestly feel a release in ways I do not fully understand, but know that God is gearing me up for the next generation of  emerging ministry as well (that is not an age related thing for my fellow grey panthers!).

God has been giving me a message of His protection, safe passage, calling and blessing, in the midst of judgment.  I ponder what answers we seek other than the known patterns of Scripture?  As I become more conservative in my understanding of the realities of the wages of sin and the Gift of God, the demand in our culture, and even in the Church, for a quick and easy fix has become a great cry.  The potential for dangerous deception is great: may God in His mercy keep us from the sin of our cultural and spiritual sister, Germany!  We are all living in a nation that has known the unprecedented favor of God—as a people, we have chosen to rebel and provoke Him in every way possible, even arrogantly and vehemently in light of vastly apparent realities of what I pray are corrective judgments. 

Truly, we are in God’s Hands, and may have only a very short time to lift up Jesus, to redeem the time, to allow the altar of redemptive repentance and consecration to produce sweet fruit.  We are all in a season of either/or in many arenas of life, and must not choose death.

We can not build monastery walls or cloistered bulwarks—we can not live in a Camp Meeting all the time—and must know that God’s Plan, the Blood of Jesus, the Power of the Holy Spirit, are greater incentive and more assured than any fading and stricken system of man. How great is the darkness of this nation when her light has become darkness! No one could have ever convinced me that “normal” would be killing babies, using the Civil Rights Movement to cover every wickedness, and “protecting” our school children from the Ten Commandments!

While devilishly destroying our own foundations, as we have proudly cursed our creator, we have been blinded to the Oriental crafts of deception and destruction and whored ourselves to nations openly pledged to our downfall!  How like the Southern Kingdom of Israel in her last 100 years before the Babylonian captivity! We are given to the stupor of wormwood (Revelation 8: 10-11, Deuteronomy 29: 10-19, Jeremiah 23: 9-15) promised by God to His Own who rebel against Him—only those possessed by hubris and diabolical swagger could run against the Lord in this hour! We are witnessing the spirit of antichrist emerge.

Thank God that it is His Time and He arises to confront the darkness that opposes Him!

God help us and put us on spiritual dialysis, for we are poisoned with the End Time delusion that we can do exactly what we want and be blessed of God! Start to listen to what is being preached and what the soul demands—Paul wanted to know nothing among the Corinthians except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.  Be careful not to listen to convenient things that soothe a conscience that needs to be turned wholly away from lies and turned wholly to Him.

It is far too easy for our way to become perverted in pursuits that polish the wrong apple. Much may be required of us as far as lifestyles, location, vocations, and callings soon.  I have heard “surprise ending” and “migrations” in my soul when praying.

Now the hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified!  Now His Light must shine through us—all the Power and all the Glory is His, and this is His Time, promised in the Word of God.  There are glimmers of outpourings, but this is different, deep, eternal, forever, now, beyond, intense, internal, personal, HIM.   Jesus is simply moving through simple people who simply believe and obey Him, in every strata and arena of life.

For your own sake and the sake of God’s purposes do not miss the supernatural by searching for the spectacular—look neither to the right or the left, but stand still and listen to the quiet Voice of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light to shine forth His glory.

The pressing dissatisfaction, frustration, unbelief, complacence, desire for reclusivity—these are natural soulish symptoms of the demand of the Holy Spirit to be brought, willingly, deeper into one’s Covenant with Jesus than ever before.  Our flesh is freaking out with the reality we have nothing that remains in this life but Him.!

Many are at a breaking point, a point of turning—fall forward!  Break upon Him!  Turn towards Him and not away from Him.  Yield to the call and see the Daystar dawning—it is the turning of the night.  Remember the Bridegroom comes at midnight. He will cause the midnight to shine as noon day. Beyond the poesy and prose of what I am writing, there is a Holy Anointing to make hard choices to simplify complicated snares in the lives of God’s people and to make simple choices that seem hard—-to surrender to Him in every circumstance.

This is a time of decision making. The Holy Fire of God has fallen on every strategy of the enemy that binds our soul to a system that forces little children away from Jesus.  Our minds must be stayed on Him and we must embrace pilgrimage—that we are strangers upon this earth on a journey looking for a City Whose Builder and Maker is God.

Our joy and peace must be in Him, or we have no joy nor peace that is enduring. There is no perfect world in this life, but there is a perfect Lord, a perfect Word, and a perfect Kingdom.  The Peace that He has given us did not come from this world, and the world can not take it from us.

There is a Sabbath Rest for us in this life.

“At that time Jesus answered and said, ‘I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.  All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father.  Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and he to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

FOR MY YOKE IS EASY AND MY BURDEN IS LIGHT.’”—Matthew 11: 25-30

Heed the call to come, to know, to rest, to be grateful, to enjoy, to love.
